Tim grew up in New Jersey, where he attended Rutgers University. He has been coaching with Nation’s Capital Swim Club since 2015, coaching swimmers of all ages. He has previously coached Loudoun Valley Estates and Willowsford South in the ODSL. He is looking forward to coaching the Hartland Hurricanes this summer.
Coach Shannon has been a dedicated member of NCAP since 2010. A lifelong swimmer, she competed locally before attending the University of Mary Washington, where she continued her athletic career and became an integral part of the team. With years of coaching experience that dates back to the Solotar Swim Team, Shannon has worked with athletes at every level, from beginners to Olympic Trials qualifiers. She has also served as Head Coach of the ODSL Broadlands Piranhas and Brambleton Bettas, and as an assistant coach for the Willowsford Waves. Shannon is the proud mother of two adult children: Cameron, who coached for the Hurricanes last season, and Mackenzie, a professional triathlete based in Cary, North Carolina.
